Some of the reviews were complaining this was a big add for DoTerra Essential Oils.Well, if you do any research you'll find the two top producers of quality oils are DoTerra and Young Living.
I happen to belong to the Young Living crowd.
Even still I found this book very helpful.
Yes, the author does recommend DT oil blends, because *that's what she knows*. If anything, find out the ingredients in those blends and make your own!
She gave a lot of good tips on using oils throughout pregnancy, labor, and newborn stages.
Even though she mentions DoTerra frequently I didn't find it off putting, or under pressure to buy DoTerra - just gave me more ideas on how to deal with this pregnancy.

Essential Oils for Pregnancy Birth Babies edition by Stephanie Fritz Health Fitness Dieting eBooks Reviews
I used this book during my pregnancy and had a wonderful pregnancy, beautiful birth, and a perfectly healthy baby who I use the oils on often! Definitely recommend The Who-ha spray!
best book ever! Better than 3rd edition because she uses the authentic doterra names
Really like this book. Most of the oils referred to are doTERRA. Although, they don't have the exact named so you have to Google some of the blends to figure out what they are talking about. I would recommend this guide to oil users. Also, it has a section for infertility that could be helpful for some.
Thank the LAWD I’m not pregnant!! This is the go to book for those that are though and I love being able to help my pregnant momma friends and family with safe and effective essential oil usage.
Excellent resource for moms and moms to be who use or want to use oils. I used many of the recommendations during my pregnancy and now that I have my daughter I continue to refer to the baby section for her needs.
Buy it. NO, buy several copies. I did. The info is so helpful, I ended up giving them as pregnancy / early baby shower gifts with some oil samples attached to help the new moms get started with even better self and baby care. You will be glad you own this book. Don't loan it out unless you have a back up. You may not get your only copy back.
If you're wanting studies and evidence for oils and pregnancy, this isn't what you're looking for. I was hoping to have a book grounded with research and evidence for the safety and efficacy of essential oils in pregnancy and with babies, but I was disappointed. The author seems to truly WANT to help and BELIEVE what she is teaching, but I just felt that she was making claims from no evidence throughout the whole book. I believe that essential oils can be powerful but I am also a user of typical over-the-counter medicines and prescription medication with no reservations. I was hoping to have more research so I could feel more confident with oils, but this book did not provide any research for me.
